Senior Producer – London and Manchester

WRG are looking to recruit two Senior Producers who will be based in our rapidly expanding London and Manchester offices. We are looking for talented and creative individuals with considerable industry experience and proven track records for delivering world-class events.

As senior members of the production team, you will be responsible for the execution of some of WRG’s largest projects, in the UK and around the world, with budgets exceeding £1m plus. It is a diverse, demanding and exciting role that will challenge you on a daily basis. Plus, you will get the chance to work alongside some of the best people in the industry – Creatives, Designers, Account Directors and Production Managers.

You should have a talent for messaging and content development, whilst having an in depth technical knowledge and excellent organisational and people management skills. 

Above all we are looking for intelligent lateral thinkers who are passionate about production and seek to deliver outstanding projects, whilst constantly pushing the boundaries in terms of innovation and execution.

The Role
• Lead events from creative concepts through to on-site delivery
• Lead and manage project teams of up to 25 people
• Manage pitch and event budgets to achieve business / margin targets
• Develop long standing client relationships (alongside Account Directors)
• Creative input to delivery of pitches and shows
• Creation of show content ensuring the clients message is delivered
• Ability to brief and deliver show software (film, digital, etc)
• Understanding of global markets and subtle nuances of their working methods
• Project management and administration in line with our Business Management System (in accordance with ISO 9001 and BS8901 standards )
• Mentoring of junior team members – Producers and Project Co-ordinators

I.T Support Technician

We are looking for an I.T Support Technician to join our busy I.T department; you will need to be confident in your ability in handling the ever changing world of IT?

This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking and dynamic market leading Creative Communications agency, where challenge and reward go hand-in-hand.

As an IT Support Technician, you'll assist the IT Manager  in maintaining and troubleshooting a network supporting 150+ employees in an Active Directory environment, ensuring 100% service availability.

You will ensure the smooth day-to-day running of all user services, including PC hardware, Apple Mac infrastructure, mail, fax, phone systems, user application support, internet access, database services and network infrastructure.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Providing support to the IT Manager where required
- Responding to requests from staff for assistance on IT issues, ensuring customer expectations are met
- Activating and deactivating employee access
- Installing and setting up new PCs and Apple Mac’s
- Providing assistance with system back ups

As an  IT Support Technician, you'll be a first class communicator with plenty of drive and motivation. The confidence to converse with managers at all levels and a professional manner are key.

Ideally posses an accredited qualifications, such as an MCSE with previous experience of working at this level in a busy IT environment.

Exhibition Project Manager - Manchester

This vacancy is critical to the production process of WRG both in pre production and on site. The Exhibition Project Manager (EPM) will be a senior position within the exhibition department and will hold significant responsibility for consistency and quality of our output.

We are looking for someone passionate about WRG and its values, someone who will champion WRG both internally and externally, and someone who will strive for WRG to be the best in its field.

The EPM will be responsible for the technical delivery of one off large-scale projects and modular exhibition programmes for some of our largest clients.  They will be expected to integrate within our existing exhibition design team to ensure projects run seamlessly, safely and on budget.

As a member of the production department the EPM will be expected to work within the operational structure of the WRG Business Management System and conform to all ISO 9001 and BS 8901 standards.

The EPM will report directly to the Operations Director, work closely with all Account Directors and liaise with all other Heads of Department.

The Role
• Work with designers to realise designs to the highest level
• Play a key role in the pitch process, writing and co-ordinating pith documents
• Liaise with all suppliers and other departments within WRG
• Liaise with venues on technical in house services
• Create and maintain budget on Procim for each project
• Arrange and chair production meetings
• Create on site schedules and crew information packs on projects
• Oversee rig and de rig on site
• Complete Show Reports
• Arrange Technical de briefs
• Responsible for Health and Safety on projects and work with consultants where necessary
• Ensure all suppliers are working within our specified BS8901 sustainability requirements
• Ensure all insurance cover is in place in conjunction with Commercial Finance Director
• Keep Exhibition Department updated on new technology and arrange relevant demonstrations
